The man behind the book

Craig Groeschel

Here is what my intuition tells me about the author, Craig Groeschel.
  • He is a regular guy being used by God to do incredible things.
  • He is humble, passionate, vulnerable, and real.
  • He is human and God is using him despite that.
  • He gives all of the credit to God and let's go of things that would be tempting to hold tight to. (credit, resources, vulnerability)
I know a lot of other people like that as well, example lead pastor, Tony Bailey, from my church, Northview Community Church, and many, many others!!!!! May God use all of us, in whatever scale He needs to, and may we always remember how human and blessed we are to have the opportunity to be used.

1. What are your positive thoughts on this author's willingness and obedience to Christ's calling on his life?
2. How is God using your humanness and vulnerability to build the kingdom?

2. It is so hard to be vulnerable. That's my biggest struggle. When you are vulnerable it leads to heartache and pain. The more vulnerable I make myself, the more pain I feel, but the happiest I seem to be. God uses the joys, the pains, and the raw emotion of vulnerability to reach out and relate to people. I want to have that "relational electricity!" (p22)
